This traditional Homemade Lemon Pickle, similar to Nimbu ka Achar, is prepared at home in Babulda village, Madhya Pradesh, by Shakuntala Bai and her husband Gopal Prajapati (Bablu).
We use fresh desi lemons sourced from nearby villages, known for their natural taste, making them perfect for homemade pickle. The pieces are mixed with hand-roasted spices and pure mustard oil (sarso ka tel), following traditional methods.
The pickle is then sun-dried in traditional Barni (ceramic jars), allowing it to mature slowly under natural sunlight. This age-old process enhances the flavor naturally and results in a rich, authentic homemade pickle taste, just like achar made in Madhya Pradesh homes.
Lemon pickle ka taste bahut hi fresh aur tangy hai. Nimbu ka sour flavour masalon ke saath perfectly blend hota hai. Na zyada teekha aur na hi overpowering, bilkul balanced taste hai. Khane ke saath iska swad aur bhi badh jata hai aur ghar ke bane achar jaisa authentic feel deta hai. Overall taste aur quality dono hi kaafi achhe hain.
